What makes the CFL unique as opposed to the NFL is several rule modifications. The CFL plays 12-on-12, while the NFL has 11 players on each side of the ball on every play. Also, the CFL only allows three downs to get a first down, creating more opportunities to score faster. The CFL has a 110-yard field, compared to a 100-yard field in the NFL, while the CFL also increases scoring with singles or 'rouges,' with the kicking team receiving one point when a missed field goal is not returned out of the end zone or kicked through the end zone.How do I bet on the Grey Cup?
