Navigating the Site:

The legislation is arranged in the form of an index with the main Acts (primary legislation) in alphabetical (title) order, and any subordinate legislation (regulations and other secondary legislation) nested beneath the relevant primary Act.

The primary legislation can be accessed by clicking on the CURRENT LEGISLATION button or selecting options from the drop-down menu under the LEGISLATION tab.

Subordinate legislation may be accessed by clicking on the ‘plus’ sign to the left of the primary legislation.

For the user’s convenience, the legislation is also presented by subject (categories) and by tag. In addition, the complete current Statute Book may be selected, alphabetically or by subject, by selecting INDEX from the drop-down menu under the LEGISLATION tab.

The site is indexed for high speed searching, and the contents of all files on this site can be accessed via the SEARCH box in the page header above.

Some of the other features users may find helpful include smart phone and tablet compatibility, automatic legislation history tables, subject columns across most layouts, and a popup help system, to name just a few.

PLEASE NOTE: the legislative text displayed may contain errors. If any are found, they can be notified to the Website Legislation Administrator via the Contact Us page.
